Bacolod City, Negros Island Region (NIR) – The Concern Sectoral Alliance – Negros (CSA-N), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering peace and sustainable development across the Negros Island Region (NIR), convened a pivotal meeting on Friday, 11 April 2025, to deliberate on the endorsement of candidates for the upcoming May 2025 National and Local Elections.
Recognizing the critical role of ethical and visionary leadership in shaping the future of Negros, the CSA-N emphasized that endorsing the right individuals—those with a genuine commitment to public service and community welfare—is essential in establishing a clear roadmap toward lasting peace and sustainable development. The alliance firmly believes that good governance, anchored in transparency, accountability, and people-centered policies, is the cornerstone of progress.

Endorsement of Mayor Raymund Tongson and Raymund Tongson III for Himamaylan City

Among the key endorsements announced was the tandem of incumbent Mayor Raymund Tongson for re-election and Raymund Tongson III for Vice Mayoralty of Himamaylan City.
